Executive Committee
The Foothills Home Builders Association is a 501(c)(6) nonprofit organization governed by the Executive Committee and Board of Directors. In accordance with the association’s bylaws, the Board consists of 14 to 16 Builder and Associate members who collectively represent the Foothills HBA membership. These individuals are committed to advancing the organization’s mission, providing strategic oversight, and guiding its operations, all in service to the association and the broader building industry.

Meet The Staff
Kim Crawford
Kim Crawford is the Executive Officer for the Foothills Home Builders Association and serves as President of the North Carolina Executive Officers Council for NCHBA. She developed a deep connection to the construction industry through her father's legacy as a local builder for over 40 years and a long-standing, active member of the HBA. With over 20 years experience in the building industry, Kim brings a well-rounded understanding of the industry from both the builder and subcontractor perspectives. She has a genuine passion for her role and is deeply committed to the success, growth, and overall well-being of the HBA members and the industry she proudly serves.
Romi McCurry
Romi McCurry is the Assistant to the Executive Officer and currently serves on the Board of Directors. She has been actively involved in the new construction industry since 2009 and brings a well-rounded perspective as both a licensed Real Estate Broker and a licensed General Contractor. Her experience spans multiple facets of residential construction, allowing her to effectively connect builders, industry partners, and the public they serve. Romi brings a fun, energetic presence to the Association and is known for introducing fresh ideas that encourage engagement, growth, and collaboration. She is passionate about supporting the construction industry, helping businesses thrive, and advocating for quality housing and informed homeownership within the community.
